Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Original Article Structure

  1. Title

    • Concise and self-explanatory

    • Avoid starting with "To..." or ending with a question mark

    • Follow writing tips shared in this video guide

  2. Authorship Criteria

  3. Abstract (250–350 words)
    Structured under:

    • Background

    • Objective (as per SMART or ASIF criteria video guide)

    • Methodology

    • Results

    • Conclusion

    • Keywords

  4. Introduction (max 1000 words)

    • General background

    • Relevant statistics

    • Brief review of related studies

    • Rationale of the study video guide

  5. Materials and Methods

    • Study Design: Specify type (e.g., cross-sectional, case-control, RCT, etc.) and follow relevant guidelines (e.g., STROBE, CONSORT)

    • Setting and Duration: Provide site and timeline

    • Sampling Technique: Clearly mention the method used

    • Sample Size: State the size and justification

    • Selection Criteria:

      • Inclusion Criteria guide

      • Exclusion Criteria guide

    • Data Collection Procedure: Mention ethical approval, informed consent, definitions, tools, and process used

    • Operational Definitions: Where applicable

  5. Permission has been obtained for any third-party materials (e.g., photographs, figures, datasets) included in the submission.
